Kelli Rice Obituary

Gaffney, SC - Kelli Miranda Johnson Rice, 44, of 2040 McKowns Mountain Road, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 7, 2025 at her residence.

Born in Gaffney, she was the wife of Johnathan Andrew Rice and daughter of Barbara George Johnson of Gaffney and the late Jesse Edward Johnson. She was employed by Super 8 Motel and a member of Sardis United Methodist Church. She loved her family, traveling and camping, especially in the mountains.

In addition to her husband and mother, also surviving is a daughter, Daphne Rice of the home; a half-brother, Brian Johnson (Stephanie) of Mooresville, NC; a half-sister, Tracy Plumley of Spartanburg; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 3:00PM until 4:00PM on Friday, September 12, 2025 at Blakely Funeral Home. A memorial service will immediately follow at 4:00PM in the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Elizabeth Pratt officiating.

The family will be at the residence, 2040 McKowns Mountain Road, Gaffney, SC 29340.
