Pacolet, SC - Larry Lee Smith, 70, of 1210 Quarter Round Road, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at his home.
Born in Polk County, he was the husband of Susan Teaster Smith and the son of the late Curtis A. Smith and Pearlie Mae Wilson Smith. He was a graduate of Polk Central High School and was retired from RR Donnelly. He was an avid Gamecock fan and enjoyed fishing. Mr. Smith was a member of Brown's Chapel Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife, also surviving is a son, Curtis "Kurt" L. Smith (Rena) of Pacolet; two sisters, Ann Atkins (Donald) of Chesnee and Lynn Scruggs Smith of Boiling Springs; three grandchildren, Hunter D. Smith, Alli Martin and Kaylee G. Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 3:00PM until 4:00PM on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at Brown's Chapel Baptist Church. Funeral services will immediately follow at 4:00PM at the church with Dr. Chip Coleman, Mr. Kurt Smith and Ms. Beth Lee officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to: Brown's Chapel "Lottie Moon", 350 Green Street, Pacolet Mills, SC, 29373.
The family will be at the home of Ms. Beth Lee, 122 Brown Log Road, Pacolet.
