Gaffney, SC - Michael Wayne Davis II, 45, of 147 Cherokee National Highway, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 19, 2026 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.
Born in Shelby, NC, he was the son of Jeanne Ross Davis of Gaffney and the late Michael Wayne Davis, Sr. He was a graduate of Gaffney High School, was employed in industrial work, and a member of Love Springs Baptist Church. He loved his family, was an avid Atlanta Braves baseball, North Carolina Tarheels basketball and San Francisco 49ers football fan.
Surviving in addition to his mother is a daughter, Ragan Louise Davis of Gaffney; a sister, two nieces and one nephew; special aunts, Shirley Jaynes, Janice Davis, Susie Norris (Bryan) and Patti Major.
The family would like to extend special thanks to the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.
The family will receive friends from 1:00PM until 2:00PM on Sunday, February 22, 2026 at Love Springs Baptist Church. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2:00 PM at the Church with Reverend Heath Bowie officiating. Interment will be in the Mountain View Cemetery in Blacksburg.

The family will be at the home of Jeanne Davis, 307 E. Rutledge Avenue, Gaffney.
