Michael Charles Littlejohn, Sr., age of 64, of Gaffney, passed away on Friday, September 6, 2024, in Charlotte, NC.
He was a native of Bronx, New York and was a son of the late Marvin and Lillie Littlejohn. At the age of eighteen, he moved to the south where he met and married the former Sheila Hunter.
Michael was a long distance truck driver for over thirty years. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his youngest daughter, Tracy Littlejohn, and a brother, Marvin "Shu Shu" Littlejohn.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories: his wife of 45 years, Sheila H. Littlejohn, of the home; three children, Michael Charles Littlejohn, Jr. (Joycelyn), Tomekia Littlejohn, and Marvin Littlejohn, all of Charlotte, NC; nine grandchildren; one great grandchild; five siblings, Erma Toliver (Danny), of Ecuador, Donna Bridges (Carlton), of Gaffney, SC, Dora "Gloria" Simpson (Dominique), of Shelby, NC, Melvin Littlejohn (Diane), of Charlotte, NC and Walter "Cookie" Littlejohn, of Gaffney; an aunt, Augustine Littlejohn, of Gaffney; mother-in-law, Anita Bates Baldwin, of Charlotte; two brothers-in-law, Lincoln Tyrone Hunter, of Charlotte and Michael Hunter (Latoya), of Gaffney; a host of other relatives and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, 5:00 p.m., in The Gilmore Mortuary Chapel with Brother Dominique Simpson.

To The Littlejohn´s ..I´m so sorry to hear of loss. We grew up together in the Bronx. 750 E 163rd Street McKinley Projects. He was such a nice person, always calm and collective. Whatever he was going through, you can be sure that he´s in no pain but in peace. God gets the glory over life and death. I´m praying for your strength and for God´s comfort from your family.
