Gaffney, SC - Nancy Johnson Bolin, 80, formerly of 633 Ross Hill Road, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 12, 2026 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.
Born in Newport News, VA, she was the widow of the late Joe Dean Bolin, Sr. and daughter of the late Arnold Ray Johnson and Evelyn McFerrin Johnson. She was a graduate of Gaffney High School, retired from the Cherokee County Court System after many years of dedicated service in numerous capacities, and was a member of Cherokee Creek Baptist Church. Nancy loved her family, especially her grandchildren, and was very active in their lives. She also loved helping others, painting and drawing.
Nancy is survived by her son, Joe Bolin (Angie) of Gaffney; her daughter, Jolie McCracken (Jeff) of Haw River, North Carolina; four grandchildren, Kyle Bolin (Katelyn), Kristina Bolin, Mason McCracken and Nolan McCracken; two great-grandchildren, Brynn and Barrett. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Johnson.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until 1:00PM on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at Blakely Funeral Home. Memorial services will immediately follow at 1:00PM in the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Ashby Blakely officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Cherokee Creek Baptist Church, "Building Fund", 501 Buck Shoals Road, Gaffney, SC 29341 or Meals on Wheels, P.O. Box 1886, Gaffney, SC 29342.
The family will be at their respective homes.
