Donald E. Bolin, age 83 of Lewisburg, Tennessee, passed away March 1, 2026 in Nashville, TN. He was born in Plymouth, Indiana to the late James and Helen Bolin. He was of Presbyterian faith and member of Christ Community Church of Franklin.
He was a 1963 graduate of Plymouth High School and continued his education at Purdue University, where he earned an associate degree in engineering. He was also a proud veteran of the United States Army, serving during the Vietnam era and attaining the rank of E-5.
Donald was a hardworking and dedicated man who built a long and meaningful career. He worked as an engineer with Bridgestone, was employed by Scott Fetzer Company, and later retired from the United States Postal Service after many years of service.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Brenda J. Rackeweg Bolin; son, Robert Allen Bolin, Sr. and wife, Janine; grandchildren, Brittney “Shai” Bolin, Robert Bolin, Jr., Piper Jade Bolin; great grandchildren, Aveah Darlene Cooper and Peyton Diane Cooper. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by siblings, Barbara Ann Ogden, Glenn Arthur Bolin and Charles Bolin.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
