Nelson Cunningham Obituary
Gaffney - Mr. Nelson Cleo Cunningham Jr., went to sleep in death on April 3, 2022.
He was the son of the late Nelson Cunningham Sr. and Marie Gladys Logan Cunningham.
He previously worked as an auto mechanic and a carpenter. Mr. Cunningham served in the US Army and was a joy to be around.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Left to cherish fond memories are two sons, Nelson Cleo Jr. Cunningham III (Haley) and Franchon Antonio Cunningham, sisters, Elizabeth Fincher (Walter), Mary C. Johnson (the late Avis), Helen Cunningham and Lillian A. Clark, a brother, Belton L. Cunningham, an aunt, Sandra Rodgers Williams (Douglas), Grandchildren reared in the home, Kendall Childers, Myzell Antonio Cunningham, and Zaylan William Cunningham, and a host of adoptive children and grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 9 at 2pm at Gordon Mortuary of Gaffney.
Interment will follow at New Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will be at the residence, 1008 N Granard St., Gaffney SC.
