SPARTANBURG - Miss Ola Mae Moore, age 87, of 297 Moore Roard, Spartanburg, S.C., went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, August 11, 2018, at her home.
Miss Moore was born August 9, 1931, in Spartanburg, a daughter of the late William Smith Moore and Mary Johnson Moore. She was a graduate of Pacolet High School and was formerly an owner of Woodruff Fish House until she retired. Miss Moore was a faithful member of Hammett Grove Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School. She enjoyed traveling.
Miss Moore is survived by seven nieces and two nephews, many great nieces and nephews, one greatgreat great niece and one great-great-great nephew. She is predeceased by a sister, Ruth Moore Rochester and a brother, William H. "Bill" Moore.
A celebration of Miss Moore's life will be held 3 p.m. Tuesday, August 14, 2018, at Hammett Grove Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Clint Phillips, and Rev. David Sellars. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Miss Moore's great nephews will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will be Monday night from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Hammett Grove Baptist Church.

Ola Ma was a Wonderful lady. Memory of going to her fish camp with our family from Hammett Grove Baptist will be cherished. The Sunday dinners where we were always welcomed with open arms were a blessing I will never forget. We will see her when we are all together again!
