Paul Wright Obituary

Gaffney, SC - Paul Wayne Wright, 82, of 208 Panaview Drive, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 4, 2025 at his residence.

Born in Smyrna, SC, he was the companion of Rebecca Madillen Moser and son of the late Jesse Dobbins Wright and Bertha Jane Wright. He retired from trucking and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He loved his family and was very mechanical and could fix anything.

In addition to his companion, surviving are seven nephews, Neal Martin, Franklin Martin, Chub Martin, David Wright (Rene), Doug Wright (Linda), Shawn Moore (Summer) and Greg Moore, all of Gaffney; two nieces, Sandra Petty of Columbia, SC and Cindy Petty of Ohio; special friends, Milton and Hellen Decker of Gaffney. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jeremy Wright.

No services are scheduled.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: American Cancer Society, 1901 Brunswick Avenue #100, Charlotte, NC 28207.
