Woodruff, SC - Arthur Ray Absher, 66, of 1340 Lightwood Knot Road, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 25, 2025.
Born in Spartanburg, he was the son of Mary Frances Fowler Kelly of Woodruff and the late Arthur Absher and stepson of the late Benny B. Kelly who helped raise him. He was a graduate of Byrnes High School, retired from Hayssen, Inc. after 20 plus years of service and of the Baptist faith. He loved his family, hunting, fishing, the outdoors and motorcycles and was very active with motorcycle charity rides.
Surviving in addition to his mother is a son, Colton Absher (Sarah) of Hopkins, SC; a sister, Lynn Gore (Boyce) of Campobello; a granddaughter, Ella Absher; a niece, Tonia Dillashaw (Mark); a nephew, Travis Gore (Leslie); four great-nieces and great-nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.

The family will be at their respective homes.
