T.D. "Jimmy" Gault, Jr, 94, of Boiling Springs, SC passed away January 9, 2023.
Jimmy was a graduate of Gaffney High School, where he played football, and a graduate of Clemson University. Jimmy and his father founded and owned Gault Insurance Agency in Gaffney, SC. He was a founding member of the Gaffney Elks Club. Jimmy was the author of The Tigerati, a dictionary of Clemson Humor, Heroes, and Hindsight, traveled extensively, and was a great teller of "war stories".
He was predeceased by his parents Talmadge and Ada Gault, his wife Betty Kelly Gault, his son Trip Gault, and his great-grandson
Ezra Kiser. Surviving are three children; Steva (Jim) Kiser, Ben (Judy) Gault, and Gloria Gault Geary, eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and several foster grandchildren.
Visitation will be at the home of Gloria Gault Geary, 801 College Drive, on Saturday, February 18 from 3-4 p.m. The family will hold a private memorial service.
