Gaffney, SC - Travis Gene Williams, 38, of 100 Killion Drive, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
Born in Gaffney, he was formerly married to Summer Ruppe Williams of Blacksburg and the son of Roger Dale Green and Marie Williams Hughey and the step-son of Sandy Green and Steven Hughey. He was a construction worker, avid Packer and racing fan, especially liked Jeff Gordon. Mr. Williams was a member of Christian Heights Baptist Church.
Surviving are two sons, Joshua Williams and Jordon Williams, both of Gaffney; a daughter, Hannah Williams of Gaffney; a brother, Steven Hughey (Lauren Echols) of Gaffney; three sisters, Mindy Hughey (Ralph Glenn) of Gaffney, Roxie Harris (Jeremy) of Kings Mountain and Amanda Poteat (Douglas) of Kings Mountain; paternal grandmother, Bennie and Mary Whisonant; a companion, Dawn Haulbrooks; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Williams was preceded death by a paternal grandfather, Patrick Green; and maternal grandparents, Martin and Lib Williams.
Arrangements will be announced by Blakely Funeral Home.
The family will be at the residence.
