Vici Teague Obituary
Gaffney, SC - Vici Bright Teague, 56, of Gaffney, peacefully entered the arms of her Savior on February 10, 2026 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
Born and raised with a heart for people and a spirit anchored in faith, Vici was a devoted member of Southside Baptist Church, where she faithfully served and uplifted her church family when her health allowed. Her life was a reflection of Christ's love; generous, joyful, and deeply relational.
Vici's warm welcome and quick smile made her a true social butterfly. Friends and family knew her as the one who always made space for her loved ones. Before her health began to fail, she was a fantastic cook who enjoyed creating gatherings that became treasured memories. Her passion for hosting was only rivaled by her love for Alabama football and her joy in shopping.
She is survived by her loving husband, Mike Teague, her children, John & Arlie Randolph, her mother, Betty Blackwell, her father Lee Bright (Barbara), her sisters, Jennifer Sisk and Samantha Prince, her brother, Chad Bright (Sheila), her in-laws, Mike Teague (Sandra) and Sheila Teague, and numerous nieces and nephews who brought light into her life. She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents.
Vici leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and open arms. She will be deeply missed but her family finds comfort in knowing she is now at peace and in the presence of her Lord.
The family will receive friends from 2:00PM until 3:00PM on Sunday, February 15, 2026 at Southside Baptist Church. Memorial services will immediately follow at 3:00PM at the Church with Reverend Mark Robertson and Dr. Greg Little officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Southside Baptist Church, 204 W. O'Neal Street, Gaffney, SC 29340.
The family will be at 101 Deno Drive, Gaffney, SC 29341.
