I am so sorry for the loss of Barbara. Many years ago we were all at Kingsley Lake together. I have enjoyed her postings of Old Florida and also of our family at a much earlier time. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

Barbara was a very dear childhood friend of mine. She would ride ponies with me at my grandmother's , I would swim in her pool !! Not only did the Stringfellow's have a swimming pool but the first color TV among our friends. We were in Brownies together along with Nancy, Lynn, Heather, Joanie, Nell, Leonora, Lily, Martha, Hebe, Suzie....and other little girls that I know but can't name !

I have loved you Cousin Barbara so much since I met you when I was 4 years old in 1961 for the extended family photograph with Grand Dads' Convertible Car in front of Uncle Jimmy's house. There were 2 Grand Parents, 4 Aunts, and Uncles each, and 13 cousins. It was a magic era to be alive in America and I am glad I got to spend it with you and all my wonderful family members! We, cousins, are the 5th generation Stringfellows from Gainesville. Now there is the 6th and soon the 7th generation too. I'll see you in heaven someday if I have been taught the truth. Much love, Mark Christian Stringfellow
