BONNIE CRATSENBURG Obituary
Bonnie L. Cratsenburg, age 69 of Alachua, passed away Saturday, May 19, 2012. She was born April 7, 1943 to Ralph and Barbara Lyke in Watertown, NY and raised on a dairy farm in Dexter, NY by her grandmother, Florence Adams. She graduated from General Brown High School. Bonnie was married to her high school sweetheart, Donald, for 37 years. Bonnie was a devoted Air Force wife for 21 years and during that time she earned her Master's Degree in Counseling. For over 30 years, she worked with Veterans and others with disabilities as a case manager. Bonnie enjoyed reading, arts and crafts and never met an animal she did not love. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and believe it or not she even enjoyed working in the concession stand at the Alachua Recreation Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald and sister, Loretta Riehlman.
She is survived by daughters, Gayle (David) Schramek, Katrina Cratsenburg; brothers, James Busby, Gary Busby; sisters, Mary Dexter, Norma Vleer, Doreen Busby; and grandchildren, Mitchell and Sarah Schramek.
Memorial Service will be held Thursday, May 24, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME WESTAREA, 823 NW 143rd Street, with Bonnie Cannon officiating. Those who wish may make a memorial contribution to the American Cancer Society or Hospice of the Nature Coast.
