JOE LITTLES Obituary
Gainesville - Age 62, son of the late Robert and Willie Mae Littles, Stock Clerk with Shands Hospital, Member of Faith Missionary Baptist Church & 1971 graduate of Gainesville High School gently surrendered to our Lord and Savior on Sunday, April 28, 2013 at Shands Hospital. The Homegoing Celebration will be held 11:00AM Saturday, May 4, 2013 at Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church (Gainesville, FL) with Pastor Kevin Thorpe officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery. Mr. Littles will be viewed at the funeral home on Friday 2:00-7:00PM - At the church on Saturday 30 minutes prior to the services - And with the processional. The procession will form at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Littles, 1519 NE 4th Ave, Gainesville at 10:30am.
Those left to cherish his memory: wife (of 40 years) - Sylvia Nobles Littles of Gainesville, FL; sons - Joe Littles, Jr. (& Linda) of Gainesville, FL and Rodrick Littles of Atlanta, GA; daughters - Deandra Littles-Caison (& Pastor W.E. Caison) of Gainesville, FL and Tracy Littles-Sanders (& Pastor Donnell Sanders) of Fort White, FL; 7 Grands; brothers - James Littles of Gainesville, FL, Rodrick Littles of Tampa FL (Robert Littles - deceased); sisters - Juanita Hope, Roberta Callicutt, Arline Edwards, and Joyce Thomas (& Melvin) of Gainesville, FL (Annie Mae Littles, Clara Mae Littles, Delores Littles-Thomas - deceased); mother-in-law - Frankie Mae Nobles; brothers-in-law - Deacon Charles Thomas, Johnny Nobles, Gregory Nobles, Anthony Nobles (Isaiah Hope - deceased); and sisters-in-law - Tarmarsha Nobles and Anquan Nobles (all of Gainesville, FL); nieces & nephews, cousins & friends.

Deandra is a wonderful person, and her character is a testamant to the love of God and Family which you and your wife instilled in her. To The Littles family;
I remember Joe from school and him working with the city of Gainesville; and I worked at the Library at the old Library building. Joe use to come over and do some work at the old library building and he was always congential with everyone. I am a member of the class of 1971 of GHS. So we say so long to another class member.

A testiment to a man's values lives within his offspring. I do not personally know Joe but fell I do through his daughter Deandra She has been a good friend and co-worker to me at AvMed. Joe will be missed but lives on through Deandra and her three fine sons.
