Mabel Cunningham Obituary
Mabel Cunningham, 101, died Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at ET York Care Center. She was native of Kirkwood, FL. She was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church where she served as Sunday School Teacher, and member of the Home Mission.
Survivors include one daughter, Deborah Cunningham Johnson, Gainesville, FL, ten grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and numerous other relatives.
Funeral services for Ms. Cunningham will be held on Sat., Nov. 14, 2009 at 11:30 AM at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, Dr. N. Lamont Newsome officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Meadows Central under the care of Chestnut Funeral Home, 18 NW 8th Ave, Gainesville, FL. Visitation will be Friday 2:00-7:00PM Chestnut Chapel and on Saturday at the church one hour before the service. The cortege will form at the home of Ms. Cunningham 507 SE 12th Terrace at 10:45AM.

I remember Ms. Mabel from when I was a very young girl and from teaching me in the primary and immediate Sunday School classes at MT. Carmel Baptist. She was always inspiring and a great teacher.
