GIBBS, PEARLIE MAE, 35
Ms. Pearlie Mae Gibbs, age 35, passed away March 1st, 2015 at Shands Hospital, UF. Ms. Gibbs moved to Gainesville from Jacksonville, FL twenty-three years ago; she was a graduate of Eastside High School, class of 1999, and was a member of New Horizon Outreach Ministries.
She is survived by her daughter, Jakera Postell, Gainesville, FL; companion, Jacob Postell; mother, Vivian Gibbs, Gainesville, FL; sisters, Kizzy Gibbs Medley (Daniel), Letita Gibbs, Marquita Watts (Travis), all Gainesville, FL; paternal grandmother, Pearlie Mae Gibbs, Hinesville, GA.
Funeral Services for Ms. Gibbs will be held 11:00am, Saturday, March 14th, 2015 at Springhill Missionary Baptist Church, Rev. Adrian Taylor, host Pastor, Pastor Michael Griffin, Eulogist; burial will follow in Pleasant Plain Cemetery, Newberry (Jonesville), FL. Arrangements entrusted to Chestnut Funeral Home, Inc., 18 N.W. 8th Avenue, Gainesville, FL.
Ms. Gibbs will repose in the Chestnut Memorial Chapel on Friday, March 13th 2015 from 2:00pm until 7:00pm, and on Saturday at the Church from 10:00am until the hour of service. Family and friends are asked to meet 10:15am, on Saturday at the home of Ms. Letita Gibbs 1723 N.E. 8th Avenue, Apt. E-2 Gainesville, to form the cortege.
