Roy Harding Obituary
Roy Edward Harding, Jr. of Lake Butler, FL, passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2008 at the E.T. York Hospice Care Center in Gainesville, FL. Mr. Harding was the owner/ operator of Harding Refrigeration. He was a member of Hope Community Baptist Church. He had moved to Lake Butler 2 years ago but had lived most of his life in Alachua. Mr. Harding was preceded in death by daughter. Tammy Joline Harding. He is survived by his wife Betty Harding of Lake Butler; 3 sons; Marty Roy Harding - Trenton, FL, Timothy John White - Keaton Beach, FL, Henry Neil White - Crystal River, FL; 1 daughter, Rebecca Delilah Harding - Englis, FL; 1 brother, Richard Harding - Williston, FL; and 6 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at Hope Community Baptist Church, 8923 NW 202nd St., Alachua, FL, on Monday, June 16th at 11a.m. with the Rev. Eugene Polk officiating with burial following at the Newnansville Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 15th from 7-9 p.m. at the Evans-Carter Funeral Home, High Springs, FL. Phone 386-454-2444.
Arrangements are under the care of Evans-Carter Funeral Home. Flowers are welcomed or donations to the charity of choice.

I willl remember Roy with fond thoughts. I think I shall remember him most talking with me about "Where the fish were biting".
I shall also remember him as a good and honest business person. Someone you could always rely on.
May God bless and keep you during this difficult time in your lives. I share your pain, as I lost Mack last month.

I remember Roy as a childhood friend of me and my brother Robert Wayne Pelt. We did many good and some bad things that I will never forget. But, I remember the day that Roy told me he was a born again Christian. I know that Roy has finally made it home with his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. We will all follow youon our way home too, Roy very shortly.

Roy was my lifelong friend. He was an honest man, sensitive and fair and generous.
My heart goes out to all Roy's family. There was no one else quite like him and he will be missed. Indeed, he is missed already.
