STEVEN WILLMS Obituary
Steven Joseph Willms, age 32 of Gainesville, FL, beloved son, brother, grandson and nephew, went to be with the Lord Thursday, April 12, 2012. Joey was born March 6, 1980 in Carthage, MS. He graduated from Pontchatoula High School, Pontchatoula, LA in 1998 and South Georgia Technical College, Americus, GA with a degree in computer circuitry.
Joey is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Steve Willms; sister, Haley and brother, Danny of Alachua, FL; brother, Cory Willms of Gainesville, FL; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Don Stone of Gainesville, FL and Mr. Bobby Fender, Sr. of High Springs, FL; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Willms of Gainesville, FL.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME WESTAREA, 823 N.W. 143rd Street. Burial to follow in Newnansville Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, April 16, 2012, 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 8384 Baymeadows Road, Suite 10, Jacksonville, FL 32256.
