Hello again Daddy, this will be my last message as this guestbook will pass, as you did. But the memories will live forever. I just want to thank you & Mama for all the knowledge you gave me. So many memories everywhere I look. At nite when the stars are out I remember the nite you & I watched the shooting stars. First standing, then sitting, then we got blankets & pillows & just layed out in the yard to watch comfortably. It was amazing. You Are amazing. Yes Are. As you live on through the family & friends. Every life you touched no matter how briefly. I know sometimes I felt embarrassed, but you were always my Daddy, a very unique man. I will love you forever!
Just the other day a coworker asked did I still have the buzz buttons as her boys had one break. I was so proud of you. I saw the simple Joy you shared with so many. What I saw as quirky at the time was truely love you were reaching out to share. I see people in a whole new lite now Daddy and I thank you for that. I remember your fear when Mama passed that the family would fall apart, I felt that fear, once, but am determinded not to lose the love that you & Mama brought to us all. That is what family is. I strive to keep the torch going. The Shelton Reunion was very different to say the least. But we will keep it going. And I call family too, to carry on your tradition as well.We now have even more Reunions Daddy with both sides of our Family. Easter has a whole new Enlightening. The Spirit does a mighty work! So see Daddy, your body isn't with us , but your Spirit sure is. That is what it's all about. The spirit, that is what Lives forever. Your (Girls) and (Son) will remember you and keep the Light alive.Your Grands and Great & GreatGreats will carry on the torch of Love. And Daddy please keep the Spirits watching over all our Family with Love & Guideance. Give all our family there our Love and know you are Loved. Your Baby Girl "Blossom"

Hi there Daddy, I finally got that memory garden well on the way. Even found a sign that says Nana & Papa. Thats what the Grandkids called you both. Boy do I miss you Guys something fierce. There are questions for advice, and so many times I just want to ask how. The world is getting worse Daddy. So much violence. We are all Praying very hard for our families. Time is passing so quickly. The hummers are here, and I remember us sitting uder the ceder tree for hours watching & listening to them. The simple times were the best. So many memories to keep close to our hearts til we are together again. Janet's Dad is with you now and you can both tell lots of jokes, and visit with all the never a strangers that you both meet. I'll always Love you & Mama. Your Shebby Ann

Happy Birthday Daddy. Couldn't let the day go by, I miss you but am happy for you, too. The Joy's met me for dinner today and it was so very wonderful. We hugged each other for you & Mama. One of your great, great, greats is home & well, and the Joy's took great pictures. There is so much to share. I send you news with my prayers daily. I seem to get more like you every day. Original is the word I like to use. Gave the copier back to Clarence today. This is the toughist of all days for some reason. Seeing the girls made it great tho. I know you know you are still loved & missed. I climb a new hurdle each week it seems. I love you old man, and miss you. Your "Baby Girl" Sherry. P.S. That's 82 old man not 28... ha ha.
