Eileen Jones Obituary
Eileen O. Jones, 92, of Cumming, passed away on December 26, 2021. She is preceded in death by her husband: BG (Ret) John Griffin Jones; daughter: Leslie Ann Jones; parents: Anna and Thomas O'Connell; and brothers: Tom O'Connell and Bob O'Connell. Eileen is survived by her children: John P. Jones (Anne) of Cumming, Victoria McKenna (Greg) of Cumming and Jeff Jones (Maggie) of Alexandria, VA. Eileen was a loving wife, mother, grandma, aunt and friend. She enjoyed the beach, having tea parties with her grandchildren, cooking and gardening. Eileen's funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, December 30, at Good Shepherd Catholic Church. She will be buried with her husband at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Downtown Rescue Mission in Huntsville, AL at https://www.downtownrescuemission.org/. Condolences may be expressed at www.mcdonaldandson.com.
