Frances Wehunt Obituary

Mrs. Frances C. "Granny" Wehunt, age 71, of Old Cornelia Highway, Lula, passed away Thursday, Sept. 4, 2008, at The Oaks at Limestone following an extended illness.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, 2008, in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Springway Baptist Church Cemetery. Pastor Gary Osteen and the Rev. Grady White will officiate. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 5, 2008, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Wehunt was a Hall County native and was the daughter of the late Johnnie Anglin and Idell (Wilson) Anglin. She was a member of Springway Baptist Church. Mrs. Wehunt was retired from Peachtree Doors. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Mrs. Wehunt is survived by her husband of 50 years, Cliff Wehunt, Lula; daughter, Darlene Pinkerton, Oakwood; daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Jeff Grizzle, Gainesville; son and daughter-in-law, Eddie and Evelyn Wehunt, Flowery Branch; granddaughters, Jamie Wehunt, Jordan Pinkerton, Jodie Grizzle, Sandy Howington and Sharon Ferguson; grandsons, Justin Peck, Jerrad "Bo" Adams, Josey Grizzle; great-grandchildren, Alexa Jo, Ryan Austin, Logan Christopher and Cruz'Rahne; sister and brother-in-law, Gwen and Harrisson Pierce, Oakwood; brother and sister-in-law, Melvin and Geneva Anglin, Gainesville; special friends, Tammy Grizzle, Judy Harkins and Vernette Elrod; and a host of other family and friends also survive.
The Wehunt family would like to extend a special Thank You to everyone at The Oaks at Limestone for all your love and care of our wife and mother! "Granny" will be missed by all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
