Jo Anne Elliott Taylor

Jo Anne Elliott Taylor, age 65, of Dahlonega passed away Friday, Oct. 3, 2008, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a sudden illness.
Mrs. Taylor was born in Dawson County on June 13, 1943, to the late Homer Lee and Marie Hamby Elliott. She retired from Beaulieu of America and was a member of Mayfield Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 29 years, James A. "Jimmy" Taylor of Dahlonega; sons and daughters-in-law, Dwight and Justice Mote of Flowery Branch and James Scott and Laura Taylor of Clermont; grandchildren, Michel, Jessica and Lacey Marie; sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda and Hubert Cranford of Gainesville and Carolyn and Larry Collins of Gainesville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ronald and Diane Elliott of Bayse, Va., and Roger and Sue Elliott of Gainesville; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jerry and Becky Taylor of Flowery Branch, Lynn and Gregg Lenderman of Dahlonega, Johnny and Evelyn Taylor of Dahlonega, and Joey and Tracy Taylor of Gainesville; father-in-law and mother-in-law, James and Judy Taylor of Dahlonega; and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 6, 2008, at Memorial Park chapel with the Rev. Ruell Martin and the Rev. Nathan Martin officiating. Burial will follow in the Mayfield Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
