Louise Lyons Griscom Obituary
Louise Lyons Griscom, 94, of Flowery Branch, Ga., passed away April 17, 2016.
Born in Hopkinsville, Ky., Mrs. Griscom lived most of her life in Warner Robins, Ga. She lived the past 10 years in Hall County. She was an avid gardener, and had been a member of First United Methodist Church in Warner Robins, Ga., since 1946.
Mrs. Griscom was preceded in death by her husband, John Hollingsworth Griscom Sr.; parents, Ruben D. and Lilly Griffith Lacy; brother, Ruben D. Lacy; and sister, Ann Lacy Crane.
She is survived by sons, John H. Griscom Jr., David D. Griscom; grandsons, John H. Griscom III, D. Andrew Griscom, S. York Griscom; granddaughter, Marie G. Lewis; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at First United Methodist Church in Warner Robins, Ga., on Saturday, April 23, 2016, at 11 a.m. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour. There will also be a visitation at Hillside Chapel Funeral Home in Gainesville, Ga., on Wednesday, April 20, 2016, from 7-9 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church of Warner Robins, Ga., in her memory.
