Oral "Bud" Otto Williams, lll, of Cumming, passed away on Tuesday, October 26, 2021. Bud was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on November 21, 1959. Growing up, he would spend most days at his grandfather's house with his brother, learning how to fix most everything in a home, including cars. He married young, at 20 years old on December 1, 1979, to Sandy. He started working at AT&T in 1977 and moved around for his job before settling in Georgia and starting a family. Michelle was born first, in 1994, and Mason second, in 2001. Bud made his family a priority, teaching independence, work ethic, and the value of a dollar. He made regular trips to visit extended family both in Ohio and Florida, among other states, making sure his kids knew their family and saw more of the country. His favorite places to go were the beaches of Florida, the Great Lakes of Michigan, and the mountains of Tennessee and North Georgia. In his spare time, you could find him working on old cars, especially mustangs, or fishing anywhere he could find. He lived every day planning a good future for his wife and family. He is preceded in death by his father Oral Otto Williams, Jr. Oral is survived by his loving wife Sandra Williams and children Elizabeth Michelle Recchio (Chris) and Mason Alexander Williams. He also leaves behind his mother Gloria Williams, brother Jim Williams (Dianne), brother-in-law Earl Ranz, Jr., sister-in-law Carol Scharf, nieces and nephews Rachel Williams, Jamie Williams, Brittney Ranz, Todd Ranz, Ava Ranz, and Eric Scharf, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Visitation was held from 3:30 p.m., to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at McDonald and Son Funeral Home. The Funeral Service was held at 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, November 2, 2021 in the Chapel of McDonald and Son Funeral Home. The Graveside Service will be at 11:00 a.m., November 4, at Maple Grove Cemetery in Cleves, Ohio. ( 9744 Valley Junction Road)
