Otis Monroe Williams Obituary
Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, Aug. 6, 2010, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow Timberidge Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Dean Bryant, the Rev. Ruell Martin and the Rev. Vernon London will officiate.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2010, and Thursday, Aug. 5, 2010, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Williams was born April 13, 1934, in Gainesville to the late Obe Williams and Nancy Gee Williams. He was retired from Con-Agra as a poultry farmer and was a member of Timberidge Baptist Church. Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Margie Nell Buffington Williams; and his grandson, Shane Miller.
Mr. Williams is survived by his daughter, Vickie Miller of Hartwell; his sons, Ricky Williams and Jerry Williams, both of Hartwell; his sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Carol Williams of Maysville and Tracy and Annie Williams of Lula; seven grandchildren, Anthony Miller, Kenny Williams, Corey Williams, Cody Williams, Brittany Williams, Dustin Williams and Caleb Williams; three great-grandchildren; and his sisters, Betty Jo Brannon of Lula, Wilma Miller of Gainesville and Bobbie Martin of Lula.
Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Road, Gainesville, GA 30504, is in charge of arrangements.
