Patricia Ann Jones Oliver, 83, of Clarkesville, died Saturday, March 12, 2022. A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 19, at Hillside Memorial Chapel. Arrangements by Hillside Memorial Chapel, Clarkesville.

how do you say goodbye to somebody who you have know for at least 50 years. A friend, a companion. a person who was always there when you needed them. pat and I have been there for each other whether it was crying, laughing, or just knowing that we had someone to talk to when either of us just needed a friend. I catch myself still picking up the phone to call her every day as it has always been. We had to talk every day even if it were only to just say hello, how are you, do you need anything. A piece of my heart left with you dear. To the family, thank you for sharing her with me these many years, but you did not have a choice. pat was a loyal and true friend to everyone she knew. she is now in Heaven and looking down on us and I know that she will be looking down on the race tomorrow in Atlanta puling for her favorites and got the best seat in the house. I already miss you girl. It is going to be much worse. But, you are in a better place now and you don't have to worry about the rest of us. One day we will join you and we can watch that race together and live without suffering or pain. I miss you girl and will always be keeping you in my heart.
