Peggy Free Ray Obituary

Mrs. Peggy Free Ray, age 48, of Gainesville passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2011. She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Free. She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Robert L. Ray, Gainesville; daughter, Margaret Ray, Gainesville; mother, Willie Jim Free, Buford; sisters and brothers-in-law, Louise and Jerome Ray, Buford, Barbara Stacy, Hazard, Ky.; brothers and sister-in-law, Larry and Penny Free, Buford, and Robert Free, Buford; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and -nephews and cousins; special friends, Wanda Suggs, Gainesville, and Darla Davis, Gainesville. Mrs. Ray was born on Aug. 5, 1963, in Buford.

She was a 1981 graduate of North Gwinnett High School. She was the owner of Peggy's Daycare in Gainesville and was a member of Riverside Baptist Church in Buford. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Oct. 8, 2011, at 3:30 p.m. in the chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with the Revs. Jeff Gailey and L.C. Bennett officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Baptist Church Cemetery, Buford.
