Raymond "Bo" Browning Jr., 63, of Gainesville passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2018, at Kennestone Hospital in Marietta.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 26, 2018, in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with the Rev. Lynn Garrison and Deacon Jeff Armour officiating. Interment will follow in Timber Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, May 25, from 2-4 p.m. and from 6-8 p.m. The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 26, from noon until 2 p.m.

Born on Sept. 22, 1954, in Gainesville he was the son of the late Raymond Browning Sr. and the late Mary Lou Williams Browning. Mr. Browning was retired from Candler Concrete where he was a truck driver. Mr. Browning was a veteran of the United States Navy, a member of the Masonic Lodge # 512 in Clermont and of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Browning is survived by his wife, Cindy Browning of Gainesville; son, Chris Browning of Gainesville; son and daughter-in-law, Joey and Jennifer Browning of Clermont; son and daughter-in-law, Jamie and Lori Browning of Murrayville; daughter and son-in-law, Destiny and Todd Hill of Lula; daughter and son-in-law, Rayna and Dustin Driver of Gainesville; sister and brother-in-law, Shelia and Howard Williams of Winder; sister and brother-in-law, Debra Wimpy and Bobby Reeves of Dawsonville, sister and brother-in-law, Rebecca and Terry Merck of Gainesville; sister and brother-in-law, Missy and Jimmy Storey of Charleston, S.C.; 11 grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
