I didn't know your son, I clicked a wrong button and there he was. I can't leave this site without saying how sorry I am for the loss of your loved one. His dedication and service to our country is something that I wish I had been able to thank him for, Thank you for raising a boy to be a man who would take on the tasks of defending and protecting not only his family and freinds, but also the rest of us who were nameless to him. We too owe him respect and appreciation for his sacrifice. I can only hope that with time your tears will be replaced with wonderful memories and times you shared with Matthew. God Bless you and all of his family.

When you lose someone it can be hard to take. The pain that you feel when your heart has to break. The memories you keep are all in your mind as you search your soul to find more, the way their skin felt the smell of their hair as you keep thinking over and shedding a tear. The years may pass the memories fade to grey, but your getting no younger you'll see them someday. Unconditonal love is never forgotten look deep in your heart it is there at the bottom. Alone in the dark sometimes in fear voices from loved ones your hoping to hear. More years pass by, they soon fly by. But your always looked upon from those in the sky. Surrounded by clouds and pure white doves they listen and watch sending you love. Just rememeber one thing as you sit and you pray, they will be there to greet you, you'll see them someday.

Matt was one of the very few people i've ever truly felt were good. An upstanding human being with more decency, honesty, and forwardness then most people can muster in a lifetime. Our close friendship was something I treasured and valued above most things in this world... he shall be missed dearly, and will remain a valiant inspiration of doing the right thing, and having the courage to do the right thing for us all. My heart goes out to you in this time of sadness.
