Not sure what to say?

I also did not know your son, however keep finding myself coming back to his page. I just wanted to say Thank You. I am sorry for your loss, especially on a day that you were expecting to be thinking of him by sending birthday wishes. My heart goes out to your family. God Bless

Sissy, may you feel God's presence in your time of loss. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

Matthew was a wonderful person with a warm, sweet spirit. He will be missed, but the memory of his overwhelming smile and loving personality will continue on in the hearts of those who knew him. May God give you peace and comfort in this time of grief.

I know there aren't any words that can comfort the loss of Matt, we were only friends in the online world. I can confidently say that Matt touched the hearts of us all. So sorry for your loss. My prayers go out to you and your family in this time of sadness.

I didn't know Matthew, I only knew him through his brother Evan. I wanted to let you know that you have a wonderful son, for him to protect his country. Keep hold of all the memories of him, he will be with you in spirit. Thank you for sharing your son.

Matt was one of the very few people i've ever truly felt were good. An upstanding human being with more decency, honesty, and forwardness then most people can muster in a lifetime. Our close friendship was something I treasured and valued above most things in this world... he shall be missed dearly, and will remain a valiant inspiration of doing the right thing, and having the courage to do the right thing for us all. My heart goes out to you in this time of sadness.
