Charles Leagans Obituary
He was born in Sparta, N.C., on May 28, 1960, to the late Hobert Joe Leagans and Juanita Fitzgerald Leagans.
Survivors include his wife, Ruby Leagans of the home; sons, Bobby Eugene Leagans of Martinsville, Stephen Charles Leagans and wife, Rebecca Ann, of Galax and James Allen Leagans of Galax; daughter, Sarah Marie Leagans of Galax; step son, Michael Anthony Bowman and wife, Jamie, of Woodlawn; step daughter, Lori Williams and husband, Scott of South Carolina; 14 grandchildren; six step grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life service was held Thursday, Dec. 2, 2021, at Great Hope Baptist Church at 11 a.m. Pastor Camet Spivey officiated. Inurnment followed in the church cemetery.
