Eldon Hill Obituary
He was born in Carroll County on Aug. 11, 1940, to the late Eldon and Gladys Bullion Hill Melton.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Garvie Melton.
Survivors include his wife, Alice Ann Padgett Hill; and daughter and son-in-law, Lisa Hill-McCoy Payne and Sean, all of Galax.
A funeral was held Tuesday at 2?p.m. in the Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church (Carrollton Pike) with the Rev. Terri Gregory and the Rev. Junior Bullion officiating. Burial will be Friday at 1?p.m. in the Felts Memorial Cemetery.
