Eric Crowder Obituary
He was preceded in death by his father, Foy Dale Crowder.
Survivors include his wife, Gina Marie Branscome Crowder of the home; sons and daughter-in-law, Joshua Eric and Amanda Crowder and John Phillip and Tara Bible; mother, Martha Smythers Crowder; brother, Mark Alan Crowder; six grandchildren; and a niece.
A private family service will be held.

I am so sorry for your loss and the delay of expressing my condolences. I have nothing but pleasant memories of Eric, after all, he, Virginia (Marshall) Glasco and I used to make it a point to wish one another a happy birthday. It is hard to know what to say, but the best thing I can offer, are my prayers that God will see you through this difficult time. You will be at the forefront of my thoughts.

Eric was a friend. We grew up together in Hillsville but as young adults we became adventurers of travel and living in other states. I met up with him over the years in Florida and Blacksburg to name just a sample. More recently in the last twenty years we became residents of our hometown Hillsville. He lived those experiences in other places and loved to share those stories. He was very very proud of his children and grandchildren and would gladly talk about them and their accomplishments. Gina became a cherished and beautiful part of his life by becoming his wife and soulmate. Eric lived a good life and will be remembered as my friend. My heart goes out to all that will miss his smile.
