Jimmy Sumner Obituary
He was born in Carroll County to the late Kelly Warden and Etta Mae Bryant Sumner.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Sumner of the home; sister and brother-in-law, Jeanette and Sammie Branscome of Woodlawn; father and mother-in-law, Wilson and Eula Sharp of Woodlawn; brother-in-law and spouse, Ronnie and Judy Sharp of Woodlawn; sisters-in-law, Patty Sumner of Austinville and Pam Sumner of Galax; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A funeral was held June 27, 2017, at Woodlawn Church of God at 2 p.m. with Pastor Rudy Robinson officiating. Burial followed in the Sharp Cemetery.
