Larry Anders Obituary
He was born on June 30, 1942, in Grayson County, to Elbert Jack and Edith Bond Anders.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda C. Anders of Fries; son, Michael Anthony Anders of Statesville, N.C.; step-daughter, Lisa Gail Hager-Wilcox of Arlington; step-sons and spouse, Robert Eugene Hager Jr. and Denise of Charlotte, N.C., and Keith Russell Hager of Roanoke; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ralph E. and Sandra Anders of Roanoke, and the Rev. Wayne D. and the Rev. Carolyn Anders of Fayetteville, N.C.; two grandchildren; a great-grandson; eight step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral was held Jan. 27, 2016, at 2 p.m. in the Grace Baptist Church with the Rev. Ben Haga and the Rev. Barry Newman officiating. Burial followed in the Monta Vista Cemetery. Military rites were conducted by the Grayson VFW Post 7726.
