Sheldon William Gauvreau Jr., 69, of Davie, Fla., died Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2013.
He was born on Jan. 30, 1944, in Chicago, Ill.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Violet Ostrowsky Purvis and his father, Sheldon W. Gauvreau Sr.
Survivors include his wife, Judie Nuckles Gauvreau of Davie Fla., and Laurel Fork. From Galax, two sons and their wives, Steven C. and Teresa Boyles and Mark A. and Lisa Boyles; one daughter and her husband, Melissia L. and William Selwyn; one granddaughter; and four grandsons; his father-in-law, Forest E. Nuckles; brother-in-law and his wife, Jerry S. and Deborah Nuckles of Wytheville; sister-in-law, Mary L. Terry of Woodlawn; and nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins of Virginia, California, and Illinois.
Services will be private.
Twin County Funerals is serving Gauvreau family.
