GALION - Sandra L. "Sandy" Craig, 72, of Galion passed away Friday, November 24, 2023, at Altercare of Bucyrus.
Born June 1, 1951, in Crestline, she was the daughter of Robert C. and Juanita (Kemp) Jones.
She was a graduate of Crestline High School in 1969 and was a secretary for over twenty years at the Mansfield Correctional Institution.
Sandy was a member of First Lutheran Church in Galion and the Mothers Club with the First United Methodist Church in Galion. She enjoyed flower arranging, working in her gardens, playing cards and was a member of Women of the Moose 303 in Galion.
Sandy especially loved spending time with family and grandkids.
She is survived by daughters, Angelia (Benjamin) Konrad of Hope Mills, North Carolina and Lee Ann (Chad Early) Ivy of Mansfield; grandchildren, Caleb, Harrison, Reagan, Gabe Ivy, Kale and Grace Early and Lillian Konrad and sisters, Peggy (Bill) Bauer of Columbia, South Carolina and Diane (Jim) Boehne of Minnesota.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother Jim Jones, sister Donna Snyder and son-in-law Kendall Ivy.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at Richardson Davis Chapel of Snyder Funeral Homes, 218 South Market St., Galion, Ohio 44833 where services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday with Rev. Joe Stafford officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association in care of the funeral home.
