Andrew Pollock Obituary

Andrew S. Pollock, age 81 of Hawk Run, went to be with the Lord on April 15, 2024 at Mt. Nittany Medical Center, State College, surrounded by his loving family.

Born December 6, 1942 in Hawk Run, he was the son of the late John Andrew, Sr. and Anna S. (Selepack) Pollock.

He wed the love of his life, Sandra Lee (Scott) Pollock, who preceded him in death on March 29, 2024.

Surviving are his daughters, Candace S. Wojno and husband Steve, Morrisdale; Andrea L. Sitosky and husband Matthew, Clearfield; grandchildren, Andy Bowen and wife Ashlee, Bensalem; Tayler Campbell and partner, Dylan Van Dyke, Curwensville; great-granddaughters, Addyson, Allyson, and Arryanna Bowen, great- granddaughter to be Wynter and he was also a loving caretaker to his dog Mo.

Along with parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a brother, John.

Andrew was a veteran of the US Army where he served during the Vietnam Era where he was awarded the Marksman Badge for the rifle and Letters of Appreciation. He was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers Fan, and Penn State Football Fan. He had worked for Smeals Enterprise, Philipsburg.

There will be no public visitation or services.

Candy and Andrea and families,
I am thinking about you and sending lots of love and prayers for you all. I know what it is like to lose both parents close together. If you need anything at all please let me know. He was my uncle Andy all my life.
