Charles Leggs Obituary
He was born on June 30, 1937 in Clearfield, a son of the late Ralph Sr. and Frances (Lida) Leggs.
Charlie graduated from Clearfield High School and then served with the US Army for 6 years. After the military, he played in the NFL as a defensive lineman for the Baltimore Colts. He played in Super Bowl III. After his NFL career, he worked at the Shawville Power Plant for over 30 years, from where he would later retire.
He is survived by two children, Lawrence J. Kelly II and Charlene Leggs; a host of grandchildren, nieces & nephews; and numerous great grandchildren; and a brother, Ralph 'Bo' Leggs.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph Leggs, Sr. and Frances E. (Lida) Leggs; his wife, Margaret Leggs. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Tina Louise Leggs; two brothers, Jonathan Leggs and William Leggs; and three sisters, Shirley Davenport, Willa Mae Keith Scoggins, Anna E. Jones.
A graveside service at Hillcrest Cemetery on Friday, April 21, 2023 at 2 PM.
Military honors will be accorded at the cemetery by the Clearfield Honor Guard.

charlie leggs , ur a legend , remember you at busters in mid 70's hanging out , clowing around , always a smile , been back home for a year , things change , wished i'd saw you , never did buddy , now i know you and buster are at the bar , together like the old days , sipping and talking RIP charlie you are 1 of the good guys
