Edward Hughes Obituary
Born on May 1, 1936, in Philipsburg, PA, he was the son of the late Guy F. & Anna M. (Tatters) Hughes. He married Doloris M. Reams on March 31, 1956, at the Former St. Savior's Episcopal Church in (Gearhartville) Philipsburg, PA; she survives at home.
Ed was a Retired Assistant Computer Design Engineer for Charles Navasky & Co.
He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister, Betty Jane Hughes.
Along with his wife, Ed is survived by a daughter, Barbara Ann McGonigal & her husband Bryan of Winchester, VA; a son Alvin L. Hughes & his wife Judy of Philipsburg, PA; a sister, Carol Lykens of Philipsburg, PA; two grandchildren, Jennifer Taylor and Erin
Brimmeier; and five great-grandchildren.
The Funeral Service will be held at noon on Friday, April 14, 2023, at Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC, 701 Lingle Street, Osceola Mills, PA. Pastor Noel Myers will officiate. Burial will be at Philipsburg Cemetery in Philipsburg, PA.
Visitation will be Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
