Francis Liegey Obituary
Born April 29, 1938 in Philipsburg, he was the son of the late Edward and Mary (Graham) Liegey.
In 1965 at the former St. Cyril & Methodist Church, Winburne, he married Johanna Marie (Verbitsky) Liegey who survives at home.
Mr. Liegey was a member of St. Mary's of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, Frenchville. He was a veteran of the Army Reserves during the Korean Conflict. He was a lifetime member of the N.R.A. and of the Local 66, Operating Engineers, Clearfield, as a mechanic. He loved fishing, hunting and tinkering.
Family and friends will be received on Saturday, June 19, 2021 from 11-1:00 PM at St. Mary's of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, Frenchville.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at 1:00 PM at St. Mary's of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, Frenchville with Father Philip J. Billotte as celebrant.
His final resting place will the in the church cemetery.
