Irma Botwright Obituary
Born on October 17, 1929 in West Decatur, she was a daughter of Roy James and Vera (Lumadue) Fleck.
Irma attended Philipsburg High School and was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Philipsburg. She worked as a waitress at the former Philips Hotel and volunteered at the former Philipsburg Hospital Snack Bar. Irma enjoyed reading, cooking, and spending time with her family. She took pride in caring for her home and loved spending time with Corky on their screened-in back porch.
On July 6, 1954 in Philipsburg, she married Robert W. "Corky" Botwright. He preceded her in death on November 4, 2018. Irma is the last of her generation, being preceded in death by sisters Catherine Reese and Jean McGuire, an infant sister Sandy Fleck, and brothers Robert "Bob" Fleck, William Fleck and Roy James "Jim" Fleck, Jr. Irma is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
She will be laid to rest in the Philipsburg Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Irma's memory may be made to the First Lutheran Church, PO Box 377, Philipsburg, PA 16866.
