Judith Darleen Josephson

1943 - 2025

Judith Darleen Josephson, age 82 of Grassflat, passed away peacefully at her residence.

Born April 21, 1943 in Pottersdale, she was the daughter of the late William Calvin and Gertrude (Royer) Stiner.

She wed the love of her life, Thomas Edward Josephson, Sr., who preceded her in death during the beginning of their marriage. At age twenty-seven, she alone, raised their children who survive, Thomas Josephson, Jr. and wife Lisa (Moskol), Drifting; Patti Moore and husband Kenneth, Jr., Drifting; Wayne Josephson and wife Laurie (White), Kylertown. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Kayla, Rachel, Kaitlyn, Joy, Jack; nine great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; her siblings, Cathy Stiner, Morrisdale and Linda Nelson and husband Jim, Grassflat.

Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, William Stiner and her sisters, Audrey Young, and Rae Hockenberry.

Judith's light of her life were her children and grandchildren whom she loved spending time with. She was a special woman who in her lifetime cared for mentally disabled children, then as time went on, she had disabled adults living in her home, always being their caregiver. She was a Protestant by faith and was a homemaker. She had graduated from Clearfield High School and loved computer games, flowers, and the outdoors.

Per her request, there will be no public visitation.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Johnson Funeral Home, Grassflat, is in charge of the arrangements.
