Kathleen Tribout Obituary

Kathleen E. Tribout, age 96, of DuBois, PA, formerly of Illinois, died Friday, February 2, 2024 at the DuBois Nursing Home.

Born on January 10, 1928 in New Baden, IL, she was the daughter of the late Frederick J. and Leona E. (Pfieffer) Bann.

On August 22, 1955, she married Virgil A. Tribout, Sr. he preceded her in death on July 24, 1971.

Kathleen was a homemaker, a laundry worker in health care, and worked on a farm.

She was a member of both the Women of the Moose Lodge and the National Shrine of Our Lady of Snow.

She is survived by two sons, (Jack E. Boydte and his wife Sherry of DuBois, PA, and Virgil A. Tribout, Jr. and his wife Adele of Old Fort, TN) two grandchildren, (Matthew Boydte and Virgil Tribout, III), a great granddaughter, (Molly Boydte), and a sister (Ruby Eschman of Mapleton, IL).

She was preceded in death by four sisters and two brothers.

There will be no public visitation funeral services will be held in Illinois.
