Robert Lockman Obituary
Robert was born November 2, 1966, in Philipsburg, Pennsylvania, the son of Robert Martin Lockman and his second wife, Joann of Waterloo, NY, and his mother, the late Dorothy Louise (Hoover) Lockman.
Robert is survived by his son Robert Martin Lockman III and wife Rachel and their four daughters Ally Heeres, and Myah, Kira, and Leah Lockman all of Romulus, NY; brother Timothy Lee Hoover of Philipsburg, PA; ex-wife Christa (Krock) and husband Albert Gregory of Stroudsburg, PA; aunt Anna Jane Hoover of Morrisdale, PA; and cousin Gail Lynn Gruendler of Pittsburgh, PA and numerous other cousins.
Along with his mother, Robert was preceded in death by his infant son James Axel Lockman; brother Michael Lee Lockman; maternal grandparents Oliver and Sara (Watson) Hoover; paternal grandparents John and Grace (Loeb) Lockman; and cousin Bruce Edward Gruendler.
Robert attended West Branch Elementary School and several schools in New Jersey where he lived most of his childhood and early adult life. Robert worked for many years in the warehouse industry.
Robert's son Rob remembers the wonderful times he had with his dad playing hours and hours of Monopoly with Robert ALWAYS taking the car and leaving Rob to take whatever was left which was normally the dog or the boat. Robert never played any "give-away" games – Rob had to work hard to beat his dad each and every game.
In addition to being a great dad to young Rob, Robert was a wonderful friend to all who had the privilege of knowing him. Robert was committed to helping anybody he knew who was down on their luck and struggling to survive. His philosophy was "If I can help somebody improve their life, then it is worth it all." Robert will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date for friends and family to share remembrances of Robert's life.

This breaks my heart. I was just there with him laughing and having a great evening. The pics on the wall I drew for him. He will be missed. A great man and a beautiful friend . Love you rob

Condolences to his family, I didn't know Rob for very long but the time we had spent together I found that he had a good heart and would give the shirt off his back to help anyone. You'll be deeply missed, RIP Rob.

Hello, can someone please tell me the date & time for the funeral??
Rob... man.. I cried my eyes out when i heard... i know your up there makin someone laugh.. haha. Love you man, you'll be missed.. you were like a brother to me an I'll never forget what you did for me.
This has hurt me badly rob.. damn.. but , REST IN PEACE, have a good time up there like U always did back then when we were together everyday..
I hope u an my gram are talking an getting along..
Miss u forever, an love you man.. we always talked about how I should have been first..... never did I think you would be... I'm healing from so much already idk how to even process this.. :( <3 rip man, u wont ever be forgotten.
