Ronald Britton Obituary

Ronald L. Britton, 83, of Osceola Mills, PA, died on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at his home surrounded by his family.

Born on June 17, 1942 in Philipsburg, PA, Ronald was the son of the late Alvin Britton & Mildred (Droll) Britton. He married Sally A. (Shimmel) Britton on February, 25, 1961 in Philipsburg (Gearhartville), PA. She preceded him in death on December 30, 2014.

Ronald was a member of the Corner Stone Community Fellowship Church in Walleceton, PA. He was also a former police officer for Osceola Mills and Houtzdale Boroughs.

He retired from the former Holsum Bread Company.

In addition to his parents and wife, Ronald was preceded in death by a brother, Randell Britton.

He is survived by three daughters, Robin Lego & her husband Andrew of Osceola Mills, PA, Amy Perks & her husband Charles of Sharon, PA, and Jodi Britton & her companion Michael Bell of Curwensville, PA; eight grandchildren Heather Lego & her companion Ron Hensal, Jr., Mark Lego & his wife McKenzie, Makenzie Britton, Riley Hassinger, Logan Perks, Lucas Perks, Karter Bell, and Jaxon Bell; and four great-grandchildren, Andrew, Connor, Jase, and Ryder.

A funeral will take place on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC, at 701 Lingle St. Osceola Mills, PA 16666. Rev. Kenneth Zitsch will officiate.

Burial will be at Umbria Cemetery in Osceola Mills, PA.

Visitation will be on Friday, September 26, 2025 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday, September 27, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral at the funeral home.
