Tillie Renosky Obituary

Tillie M. Renosky, age 90 of DuBois, PA died Friday, October 21, 2022 at her home.

Born on February 22, 1932 in Stump Creek, PA, she was the daughter of the late Anthony & Jennie (Marincic) Rehar.

On September 25, 1954, she married Paul J. Renosky at the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church in Sykesville, PA. He preceded her in death on December 12, 2010.

Tillie retired from Brockway Pressed Metals.

She grew up in Stump Creek (Kramer), PA and attended the Kramer and Sykesville High School.

As a member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, Tillie was active with the Rosary Infant of Prague Society. She participated and had devoted much of her time in many of the activities of the church, preparing funeral luncheons and working for the St. Michael Polish Festival. Attending daily mass was her joy and fulfillment of God's love. She was a member of the Blue Army World Apostolate of Fatima.

Tillie enjoyed her many travels with her husband Paul to the many holy shrines some of which were Fatima, Austria, Slovenia, Medjugorje, and Guadalupe. As a volunteer, she was a member of R.S.V.P. where she served at the DuBois Continuum of Care Community's Nursing Home where she prayed the rosary every Tuesday for many years. She also served at the DuBois Food Pantry. She enjoyed reading, dancing, and doing various types of puzzles.

Her family and her grandchildren were her joy and delight. Tillie is survived by her five children (Richard Renosky of DuBois, PA, Paula Read (David) of Indiana, PA, Christine Bell of Marysville, PA, Diane Kessler (Gregory) of Marysville, PA, and Darlene Toffry (Robert) of Abingdon, MD), six grandchildren (Ryan Read, Stephen & Jessica Bell, Alex & Nathan Kessler, and Kristi Toffry), and one great granddaughter (Mara Jade Bell).

Tillie was preceded in death by her four brothers (Mirko, Luttie, William & Herman Rehar) and two infant siblings (Matilda & Frank Rehar). She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 23, 2022 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc.

The rosary will be prayed Sunday afternoon at 3:45 p.m.
