Amanda Johnson Obituary
She was born February 2, 1987, a native of Gaston County, the daughter of Larry Leon Kennedy and Patti Sisk Kennedy.
Amanda attended Gospel Light Holiness Church in Gastonia. She had a big heart and loved her family, friends and animals. She enjoyed sightseeing and traveling with her husband.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Chase Johnson; brother, Michael Shane Kennedy; paternal grandmother, Jean Kennedy, and mother-in-law, Jennifer Ann Linkous.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Max and Mary Sisk; and paternal grandfather, Daniel Kennedy.
A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 12 at Greene Funeral Service – South Chapel 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, officiated by the Rev. Jerry Willard.
The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Westview Gardens.

Chase, Amanda will always be beautiful. She was truly a blessing to our family. The way she loved you and everyone in her life...always smiling. I hope you never lose faith and that you find strength and comfort in Gods love to get through this. We always return to the one who loved us first. Always know she loved you. I will miss her and her laughter. She was my daughter.
